Mental Diarrhea

Soon I will find myself in a place without time, in another reality; the real reality. I am really looking forward to that day; even though I love to be with those I love here, I am set to go; I'm ready, very ready.

I just read the news about the swine flu, it is an epidemic; pestilence as Jesus said. I saw a picture of a subway car in Mexico City in which every single person in it is wearing a mask, trying to protect themselves against this disease, it appears that the swine flu is transmitted through the air and by contact, like shaking someone's hand; nice to meet you, my name is swine, here, have some flu. People are panicking, they closed the schools, and even whole factories shut down; the losses are great in a place that is constantly losing. A place of idolatry and darkness.

I grew up in the big city, when I left back in 88, there were 19 million people living in the metropolitan area; they estimate 27 million today. So where do you go to escape? The virus is everywhere, and is coming to the states, to the divided states of America. I hear is already here, what do we do? where do we go? Where is our help coming from?

Our help is ever present, I AM is His name, He is our present help in times of trouble, our strong tower, our refuge, our strength.

People panic in fear of getting sick, or fear of losing something that they hold dear; I have nothing to hold me anymore, only the desire to see my children and grand children grow and fall in love with Jesus causes me to want to be here longer, that is it; there is nothing else in this world that attracts me anymore. I have been blessed to taste everything this world has to offer, I still have not seen the whole planet, but I don't have the interest in it; as far as I am concerned the hole in the ozone layer will only get bigger, not matter what the environmentalists think, say or do, the rain forest will never be depleted; I have seen the jungle grow onto the roads in the south of Mexico in a week, they are constantly fighting against it, the jungle grows and eats the roads and they have to maintain them constantly. In some parts of the rain forest, it rains all the time, that is why is called the rain forest, because it rains a ton, most of the year, and when it does not rain, the humidity is at 100 percent everyday, you can barely breath from the moisture in the air.

I know I'm rambling, but the point is that no matter what the liberals say, God is in control; and His plans and purposes will come to fruition regardless of man's attempts to control nature, and to control man. Time is short, so if you like to be alive on this earth, you better enjoy it because it's coming to an end soon; how soon? I don't know, but in God's timetable a thousand years is as one day, and one day as a thousand years. Time is a physical property of this universe, and the universe as we know it will pass away, it will burn with fervent heat, the elements will melt and your Mercedes and your beemer will disappear. It's coming, the G20 won't be able to do anything about it, nothing can stop it. Obama will be powerless, and Oprah too.

Sometimes I wonder who is reading this blog, I just wonder, but I don't care; for me it's just like a journal where I can come and trip out; I asked for feedback before and was ignored so I assume that no one is reading, which is fine with me; I would hope that, at least the people to whom I sent the initial email to share this, are reading their bibles, which is always more important than wasting their time reading someone rambling, for that matter people always choose to glue their eyes to the tube and watch American idol, that is some very edifying stuff; put your mind on things above not on things on the earth, Paul said, but I guess that was just a suggestion; you can ask someone what is the name of the fat chick that sings pretty and they say it by heart, but if you ask them where is the story about Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, they'll tell you is in the book of Matthew, it's a trip.

Anyway, the swine flu is here and the World Health Organization has raised the pandemic risk level to 4, which is now pretty much out of control; the question is, will it kill me if I get it? That does not sound like a cool way to go home, runny nose and runny butt. Sorry, that is awful of me to say, please forgive me; I shouldn't make fun of the swine flu or the symptoms it causes, political correctness is of utmost importance here; we don't call the Islamic religious fanatics who kill people by blowing themselves up with TNT "terrorists", they are now called "militants", we don't call people who gave themselves over to commit what is shameful with other people of the same sex "homoes" or "queer", they are called "gay" as if they are really in a merry, lively mood, the real meaning of the word; we cannot say anymore "The baron is a gay old rogue with an eye for the ladies", because that would be a total contradiction, and not only that, but also an absurdity.

At any rate, who will get the swine flu? What are we to do to protect ourselves from this malicious plague? Will the use of condoms help? It might if people could actually breath through them. Anyway, I have to stop this post before it turns into something disgusting and coarse; I am sure I will get comments now, I am going to be surprised to see how many people really read this blog.

I think I have diarrhea; mental, that is.

21 April 2009

it is 2:37 in the morning and I find myself in the emergency room at Sharp in Chula Vista,CA. The reason? A head on collision; with my youngest daughter at the wheel of one of the cars involved. As I stand, or sit, here, I am praising God that she is alive and actually walking, they have just taken her to get x rays after a six hour wait. These are the kind of events that not only shake your foundational beliefs but also test your patience.

The striking difference between those who believe in a God who justifies the ungodly, and those who walk in darkness is obvious. I am glorying in the Lord and in His mercy for me and my daughter, I praise his holy name that she is smiling, in pain but smiling, tired but grateful that she can walk and that the damage was not worse: a sore neck and swollen thumb.

I can see the hand of God protecting my little girl, a head on collision with another car going at about 45 mph and hers doing 15 mph is like slamming a car against a wall doing 60 mph, both cars were totaled, they had to pry open her door so she could get out of the car. She has a small cut in her right thumb, we thought it was broken, and a sore neck; the other driver had only a burn blister on his arm. I can almost see the angels positioning the air bag on my daughter's upper body. God is so good to us.

This is almost the same scenario where I flew off a cliff on my motorcycle, and when I opened my eyes I was comfortably resting on the dirt, no scratches, no broken bones, nothing; I was covered in dirt but was perfectly fine; God carried me in His hand and lay me down on the ground gently, that is how it felt. Almost like walking on water. Psalm 91:9 Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place-- the Most High, who is my refuge--no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.

I have at least 10 more stories about the supernatural movement of God's hand in my life; the point is that I believe in a very big God, He is a God of miracles, a loving and gracious, and merciful God; He is also a Just God, and His justice will be served one day upon those who reject Him.

As Bush used to say: "make no mistake about it" God is good to His children, nothing will be able to separate us from His love which is in Christ Jesus. Just yesterday I was asking the question: how can I not be afraid? How can I not doubt? The answer is clear: look and remember, taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who put his trust in Him. I am blessed for He delights in me; I was created for His pleasure.

So I am writing this with the sole intention of magnifying His name, to extol His name, to glorify His name, to praise His name, to adore Him, to worship Him; not only because what He has done for me and my family, but also because He deserves it. Even if things would have been different yesterday, I have to know that all things work together for good for those who love God and who are called according to His purpose.

That is the difference, for some people all things do not work together for their good; they are temporally enjoying their fatness, just like Asaph says; the day of reckoning will come to some, and they will see that all things worked together for evil because they did not love God, because they were not called according to His purpose.

He walked on water

It's been quite a while since I first read the story about Jesus walking on the water. I was about six or seven years old when I first read the book of John, I was just a little boy who could read, and I read.

I read everything that had letters, ads on the freeway, car badges, license plates, labels on shampoo bottles, far or near, if it had letters on it I would read it; I was fascinated with my new ability, the strange symbols plastered everywhere within my field of sight made sense, finally.

There was a huge book case in my house; it looked huge to me but now I realize it must have been a regular size book case; or maybe not since it took a whole wall in the living room; but in any case, there were many books there, a lot of books; I read those books, if I could understand what they said I kept on reading, and in that way I read from Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle and Solzhenitsyn to Leon Tolstoi and Dostoevsky; from Mark Twain to Gabriel Garcia Marquez, I used to love reading Isaac Asimov and Franz Kafka; my imagination ran wild. I read Mario Puzo's The Godfather and I thought my father was "el Padrino" and I wanted to be like Don Corleone, I read so many books that I can't even remember the titles anymore, my favorites were without a doubt the classics like The Count of Montecristo and The Brothers Karamazov, I read some Homer and Shakespeare and thought it was boring, well at least I tried, anyway, I read a lot, that's the point.

Nothing compares, from all the books I have ever read, to the Book of books, the Word Of God; I don't care what anybody says, the bible is the book to read, I read it everyday and keep on finding that I still don't really know what it says, what I mean is that it keeps on changing in the way it speaks to me, and it is without a doubt an integrated message of extraterrestrial origin as Chuck Missler says.

Back in 1965 or 66 when I was a boy, everything in life was new to me, an old priest in my school gave me the Gospel According to Saint John, and I also had a new testament in Spanish that I was required to bring to a class in which the teacher taught me how to navigate through it; I looked for pictures in the little book and found none, but then I randomly opened it and started reading; there He was walking on water. So easy to believe when you are 5 or 6 years old.

Reading, knowing about Jesus at such an early age caused me to become somber, this was serious stuff; I didn't think He wasn't real, or that someone made the story up, I really believed He walked on the water, and I still believe He did. I thought about it often, it made an impression on my young brain, I am still affected by knowing this.

I tend to count walking on water as a normal thing, I am used to it; I read the story many times and I never have doubted that Jesus really walked on the sea, when I really think about it there is this sense of seriousness to that event, a certain weightiness to the supernatural.

Experiencing God should be a serious matter, it should be a goal of my life; not just read and marvel about Him, but to read and think and apply what I learn from the Word. The practical application of statements such as "don't be afraid, it is I", or "why did you doubt, you little faith?"; how can I not be afraid? How can I not doubt? those are the questions that remain, they still probe my thinking, they still poke my curiosity, they still convict me.

It is a given that for God nothing is impossible but then I think, how is it possible for water molecules to become solid without becoming ice? Did the water change or was Jesus not really touching the water? Did He get wet? Did His feet get wet? Did His robe get wet? There is no way to explain this, it was a miracle; an act of God, it does not matter how much effort I exercise in trying to understand it, my mind is too small, logic is thrown out of the boat and it sinks with all my understanding, it is indeed an act of faith to believe that what I read there in the book of John is real.

But there is one more book, no one on earth has ever read that book, it is a special book, it probably has millions of pages, and the name of the book is: "The Book of Life of the Lamb who was slain", I don't know what is written in that book besides the names of those who believe in the Lamb who has been slain before the foundation of the world.

I would like to read that book one day, I wonder what else has been written in it, besides names. This book is mentioned in Revelation 13:8, "and all who dwell on earth will worship it (the beast), everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain". How many names are there in this book? Millions? Billions? Trillions? Zillions? Who wrote these names in it? Who are these people? Is my name in it? Is your name in it? How do we know? We know our names are written there because we believe, that's it. There is no other way to know. It's mind boggling.

What is harder to believe, that Jesus walked on water, or that He wrote a book of names before time began? Why is so hard for some people to believe that God spoke the universe into existence? Why is so hard for some people to believe, period? It is because it has not been given to them to believe. 2Ti 1:9 who did save us, and did call with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, that was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the times of the ages, 10 and was made manifest now through the manifestation of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who indeed did abolish death, and did enlighten life and immortality through the good news.

The book has been given to me so I can discover the greatness of the gift of God in Christ, the bible was given to us for that purpose, so that we might exalt Him in awe, so that we might experience grace and truth in Jesus, in fact John was written for that very purpose:

John 20:30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Jesus walking on the water was documented not so that I could try to understand how that happen, or that I might over analyze it with my tiny puny brain, but with the intent that the power of God, the power that the Father exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, may explode inside of my being opening my spiritual eyes and my understanding, and so that faith would work in me so that I could believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

This sign of the King of kings walking on the water, was included there in this gospel because He is God in the flesh, only God can take the physical things of this world and manipulate them according to His will for the exaltation and praise of the glory of His grace. So that we might decrease, so that He might increase; what? So that He might increase! Increase what? So that He might increase......increase inside the mind, inside the heart, inside the deadness of our natural hearts, His glory exploding in our brain, exploding into praise and adoration of the marvelous, amazing, unspeakable greatness of His grace.

I read the gospel of John again, yet once more, and today as in the last fourty or so years, I remain amazed at the wonder of His power, the power that is at work in us who believe.

Tears of heaven

All men have to be broken to come to Jesus; I am broken, my heart is broken and I am no more than a worm. Blessed is the man who finds his quiver full of children; and they will break your heart, so blessed is that man that finds himself broken. Broken and with his children.

I wonder if God cries for us like I do for my children. Jesus wept. So I think He does. Why did Jesus cry? There is only one verse in the entire Bible where it says He wept:

John 11:32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled.
34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
35 Jesus wept.
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

The significance of Jesus weeping caught the attention of the translators of the bible in such a way that they assigned a verse number to that event: Verse 35 Jesus wept. A simple statement; a monumental statement; a grandiose statement. The God-man crying on the earth He created, so not only did He bleed for us, but He also wept for us.

What are the ramifications for our lives when we read that our creator felt the pain and the sorrow occasioned by the curse of sin? Death had been reigning since the fall of man, the sting of death and the terrors of darkness. Men die in darkness today, as they have died since the very beginning; men without God and without hope; such is the cause of Jesus' grief.

It is clear that Jesus loved Martha and Mary and Lazarus; when He saw the pain of the living, when He saw their agony, their suffering, their turmoil, the hopelessness of their situation, He felt sorrow; His spirit was deeply moved, He wept.

Our God's precious tears of compassion rolled to the ground, it was here where the fullest of His love was mingled with the fullest of His mercy, His humanity mixed with His divinity in tender loving kindness; tears of heaven mixed with dust from earth, "behold how He loved him!" they exclaimed, and now we exclaim; behold how He loves me! Behold His cross, behold His blood, dripping from a tree just like His tears dripping from His cheeks, from His beard unto the ground. Behold how He loved us. Behold the empty tomb.

How can anybody read over that statement and go on as if it meant nothing? How can we not stop and meditate on what His tears meant? How can we ignore that He groaned within Himself as He approached the grave of His friend? "The one You love is sick!" was the message from His friends; this was not a prayer for solutions, this was not a prayer of supplications or thanksgiving; it was a simple message of faith, we know You can heal him, we know who You are, and You, and only You, can do something about it; it was all implied in it.

Jesus waits, our God waits, sometimes even until we see no solution to our problems; when our hope is gone, when we are crying and desperate for help; when all we see is death and darkness, when we stink; He weeps for us, and He comes to give us life. He is the way, the truth and the life, the resurrection of our minds, of our hearts and of our bodies. There is no more death when He comes, there is no more weeping when He arrives, He's done it for us.

Jesus wept for those He loved. Do you weep for those you love?

I find myself broken, weeping for the ones I love, see how He loves them! I am groaning, troubled in my spirit: come and heal, heal all of us, Lord we stinketh, bring us back to life and wash us in your tears of love.

My love is nothing compared to the love of God, ten thousand of my problems are nothing compared to the greatness of His mercy; a billion tears cried by these eyes are no comparison to a single one falling from the eyes of my King; the best and costliest perfume cannot compare to the fragrance of His love; so what if He waits until we stink? Our only prayer has become that of the sisters: the one You love is sick, and we wait in tears.

Blessed is the man who finds himself broken, as he weeps there is hope; for as surely as He rose from the grave, He will come and will turn the stink into the fragrance of His love, and we will surely hear His words: loose him and let him go. Many will believe on Him even as we do.

I'm making a point

I am not a Calvinist; I didn't even know who this guy was and I never read his books; but it doesn't matter really, the historical fact is that the guy was here five hundred years ago and he was a pastor, and a theologian. A lot of people do not agree with his views regarding the doctrines of the bible, and that is fine, but when people think they know what he thought and start blurting out all kinds of statements about his doctrine being false, then I think I should say something, and make a point.

I was given a paper written by a guy, (his name is irrelevant but you can probably find millions of people who think the same way as he does), in which he plainly states that Calvinism as a belief system is a false doctrine. Well, I don't really know what to say to the guy, but when you really study the bible, and look key words in certain passages in the original language, and really see how the words and meanings are used by God, then it is obvious that the Calvinistic system of belief stands on its own as solid. My point is that I am not trying to defend Calvin, but the word of God.

A lot of people do not agree with some of Calvin's statements, and that is fine and dandy, but when people dare not to agree with what the word of God clearly teaches, then Houston, we have a problem.

I am going to give two examples of what I am talking about, and then I will make my point and shut up. The first one is: this guy quotes Acts 17:30 in which he says that God commands everyone to repent and therefore when God commands men, He expects they can and will do so. Those are his words not mine, so here is the verse in the KJV, the numbers are the Strong's numbers so you can look them up for yourself: Acts 17:30 And(3767, 3303) the3588 times5550 of this ignorance52 God2316 winked5237 at; but now3569 commandeth3853 all3956 men444 every where3837 to repent:3340

As you can see there, the number for the word "commandeth" is 3853, and this is what that word means in the Greek: paraggello, (pronounced par-ang-gel'-lo)
From G3844 and the base of G32; to transmit a message, that is, (by implication) to enjoin: - (give in) charge, (give) command (-ment), declare.
Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries

So first of all, this word does not really mean a command only, as you can see by the definition, it could also mean to convey a message. In my mind that is what is obviously saying, because we have the fact that the ten commandments no one can keep; when this guy says that God expects men to obey because they can and will, he is ignoring the fact that no one in the history of humankind, except Jesus, has been able to keep the ten commandments, even since childhood every single person has either lied or stolen a cookie or dishonor their parents, not to mention that no one has ever kept the first commandment.

John 15:12 This3778 is2076 my1699 commandment,1785 That2443 ye love25 one another,240 as2531 I have loved25 you.5209

In the verse above we have Jesus giving a commandment to His disciples; and to you and me, but as you can see the number right next to the word commandment is 1785, and this is what it means:
G1785 entole, (pronounced en-tol-ay')
From G1781; injunction, that is, an authoritative prescription: - commandment, precept.
Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries

My question is, why did Jesus use entole instead of paraggelo? The answer is obvious but I'm going to let you think about it, and read it yourself in your own bible and decide why.

The guy who wrote the paper is not making any sense at the very beginning of it, now let's move on to the second point I was going to make: this guy quotes the following verse to say that salvation is intended for every individual and cannot be limited to the elect, to the sheep whom Jesus said He was going to die for (John 10:11-18):

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

You have to carefully read Peter's letter from the beginning to realize that is in fact directed to those who already believe, therefore when he says "toward us", he is speaking about us, the believers and those whom God is waiting for to repent, which are the elect, and if he says that God is patient toward us and He is not willing that anyone should perish but that all should come to repentance, then the "anyone" and the "all" have to be the believers to whom Peter is writing, the same "us" he is talking about; I don't see any other way to interpret this passage in the context in which it was written, do you?

Then we have Peter's statement about God reserving the world for destruction by fire and the perdition of ungodly men, this is right before our verse in question; so why is Peter talking about the perdition of ungodly men right before he says that God is not willing that any should perish? The obvious answer to that question is that he is talking about two different groups of people, and not about the whole of humanity as a lot of people have been led to believe by their teachers, or by their own ignorance when reading this epistle, or the bible for that matter.

Now, please don't tell me that God is not willing to destroy wicked humanity because He loves everyone the same, that is in fact a lie and is not biblical; read second Peter again and you will see that he is reminding the believers to whom he is writing, that God already destroyed the whole world once, and that EVERYONE died except Noah and his sons.

Didn't God send Joshua to destroy whole cities along with every man, woman and child and everything that had breath? If you say no, then you need to read the book of Joshua again. Was not Saul's disobedience in NOT killing every living thing when he was told to do it, the reason why he lost his kingdom? Did not God Himself give instructions to kill every man, woman, child, cow, goat and chicken that moved or breathed in the cities of Amalek?

Just in case you have not read it, or forgot about it, here it is: 1Sa 15:1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.
2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

Did you notice that? Every infant and baby included in the destruction. And I know it doesn't say chickens, but is implied in the instructions, what, did they let the chickens free because God did not say chickens? He said "all that they have", so was God not willing that any should perish, or was He not willing that any should live?

You decide yourself.

You have to read, and study, the whole counsel of God to come to the same conclusion: God does NOT love everybody the same, and He is in fact going to destroy the earth once again, by fire, and everyone who has rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ. God will cast many, that means a lot, into the lake of fire and brimstone; read Revelation, so if He is not willing, then why is it happening? Answer: to demonstrate His justice, and at the same time demonstrate His mercy. Read Romans 9 if you want. The bottom line is that when God wills something, it happens no matter how we resist or doubt, same thing when He does not will something.

A final point, the guy in the paper says that Calvinists claim that man has sovereign will; that alone shows this guy does not not what he is talking about; Calvinists do not claim that man has sovereign will, but that God alone is sovereign and that man does not possess "free will" because his will as well as his mind and his heart is totally depraved, and cannot, in his own volition, come to God, and also because man hates God by nature, ( if you don't believe that read Romans 8, well, you might as well just read the whole book of Romans, it might do you good).
That is why Jesus said "no one comes to me, except the Father draw him"; that basically means what it says, that you and I, and the rest of mankind, cannot come to Jesus unless the Father Himself takes us to Him and as I said before, when you look for the meaning of the word "draw" you find out, shockingly, that it means "to drag", so basically what Jesus said is that no one can come to Him unless the Father drags that person to Jesus, nothing could be clearer than that, no one can make the "free will" choice to come to Jesus, we have to be dragged to Him.

Another final point, I know I already said the previous point was the final point, but I might have another final point, in which case this point would not be the final point but the previous to the final point final point; did you get that? Ok, I admit it, I am trying to deviate your attention from the final point I was trying to make so I could make an extra final point, in which case also qualifies it as the previous to the final point; but at any point, here is the point I was trying to make as the final point: if you don't like what you have just read, then I would expect you to say something, or at least make a point about any of the points I have made, including the final point and the previous to the final point point.

The point is that some people just talk and never make a point; so please either make a point or just don't make a point but say something. Feedback is good, feedback is nice, feedback is needed, even if it is just one point, did you get the point?

The "free will" of men

No one is able to resist YHWH, it may appear that we have free will but our will is subject to God Himself, He is the one that does everything according to His will, not ours. When men, dead in trespasses and sins, and walking according to the course of this world and according to the prince of the power of the air, think that they have the freedom to choose; they deceive themselves in so doing. Man in general, has a will, but is not free; how can a dead will be free? How can a man or woman who is dead in bondage to sin have a free will? There is no such thing as free will, I don't think so.

Dan 4:34 At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation; 35 all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, "What have you done?"

The great king Nebuchadnezzar was turned into a cow or some sort of beast by the power of YHWH, not because he had a free will, but because He has free will, and works everything according to the pleasure of His will. For seven years, this guy walked around on all fours eating grass, God Himself made him to become a beast, why? Because of his pride; his arrogance in thinking that he had accomplished his great kingdom. Here we have an example of a man who was made to believe in the complete sovereignty of YHWH, not by the circumstances but by YHWH Himself, God is the one who not only did it, but He let him know in advance that would happen to him.

There is nothing different today; men and women are turned into beasts because they refuse to acknowledge their creator: Rom 1:28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
32 Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Beasts do not have a will, only instincts that make them do things, the same way a man who is lost in darkness is caused to do evil by the darkness of his heart.

So where is the free will of men and women in all this, when in fact the Word of God declares that He, God, gave them over to a depraved mind? Where is , or how is it that people have any freedom at all? It just appears to be like that but in reality no one is free to choose anything, God is the one who controls everything, and He causes every one of His children, the chosen ones, to come to Jesus, the same way He disposes who will not come to Jesus; this might sound harsh or not biblical, but think about it; what does it mean when you choose something? don't you have more than one choice in order for you to be able to choose? Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

And didn't YHWH Himself declared that He made the pharaoh to display His judgments and that His name would be known and recognized throughout all the earth? He states that He hardened pharaoh's heart, even though pharaoh hardened his own heart, so it appears that pharaoh made a choice but it was determined by God that he would make that choice in not letting Israel leave Egypt, and in so doing to accomplish the purposes of God; again, who can stay His hand?.

Psa 115:2 Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?" 3 Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.

Our God does whatever He pleases, man does whatever he pleases; well, that is not a contradiction; since man does what appears to be whatever he pleases but God is the one who determines what happens, so it is God who does whatever He pleases, not man. Trippy stuff.

Pro 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

If the king's heart is in God's hands, where is the heart of men? Are we all immune to His power and control because we are not kings? On the contrary, if the king's heart is in His hand to turn it wherever He wants, even more so the hearts of common people.

God is in complete control over His creation, nothing stays His hand, says our friend Nebu, king of Babylon; who can ask Him anything? Who can require an explanation about His designs? How can anybody believe that God can change His mind? Or who can ever ask Him: why are you doing this or that? Who dares to ask Him why He made flies? I hate flies but they serve a purpose. Is He the King, and sovereign ruler of the universe, or is He not?

Because of man's depraved mind, and because he or she lives in complete darkness, all they can do is choose between greater evil or lesser evil, the fact that some men are capable of moral acts of good does not qualify them as good, because their motives are wrong and they are nothing near the presence or the desires of God; they are unprofitable.

No one can come to God because of their "freedom of choice", Jesus Himself said that man is already condemned because men love darkness: John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

Man has no capacity to choose to come to God, to seek Him by his own "free will", man loves darkness and hates God by nature.

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

To be at enmity with God is the same as to hate God; man in his natural state (without God in his life) is at enmity with God, an enemy of God, unpleasing to God, we were there along with the billions of people who hate God and love darkness.

Eph 4:17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 having been darkened in understanding, being estranged from the life of God, because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; 19 who, having become callous, gave themselves over to debauchery, for the working of uncleanness with utmost greediness.
20 But you did not thus learn Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and were instructed by Him, just as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former way of life, the old man which is being corrupted according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created in the likeness of God, in true righteousness and holiness.

So who are these gentiles, the rest of the gentiles? Everybody else but those who are Jews in the heart. Paul is writing to the Ephesian gentiles who have been born again and he is making a distinction between them and the other gentiles, the rest of the gentiles. In this case, including the Jews who are not true believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everybody else walks, lives their lives in the vanity of their mind; their understanding is darkened because of the ignorance that is in them, and it also appears that they made the choice to give themselves over to debauchery; but we know who ultimately made the choice for them: The Great I AM, read Romans chapter one again and you will see that is God who gave them over to a debased mind, they made the choice because their mind is dark and they are unable to choose God on their own volition because their minds are corrupted according to the deceitful lusts.

Why did they become callous? People become callous because they ignore the little voice of the conscience that God put there when they were born into the world, it is a fact that everyone has a conscience; when doing something wrong they know they are doing wrong, evil is evident in their minds and the ignore that sense of natural conviction; and also because they ignore the convicting voice of the Holy Spirit who has been sent into the world to convict men of their sin: John 16:7 Nevertheless I speak the truth to you. It is profitable for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He comes, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I am going to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

Humanity stands under judgment, and the ruler of this world has been judged already; but humanity will continue to resist the Holy Spirit because they are under the control of the prince of this world, and unless God Himself drags us to Jesus no will come to Him. That is what Jesus said.

Rom 9:14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Absolutely not!
15 For He says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion."
16 So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God who shows mercy.
17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very thing I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth."
18 So then He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.
19 You will say to me then, "Why does He still find fault? For who has ever resisted His will?"
20 But indeed, O man, who are you to be answering back against God? Surely the thing formed will not say to him who formed it, "Why did you made me like this?"
21 Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and the other for dishonor?
22 But what if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make known His power, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath having been prepared for destruction, 23 and so that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24 even us whom He called, not only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles?

And so the question remains, who has ever resisted His will?

1Co 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

So we see, to them which are called. What does that mean? You and I were called, God called us to Himself; "we know", says Paul, "that all things work together for good to them, or those, who love God and who are called according to His purpose" (Rom. 8:28), so is everybody called? Many are called, but few are chosen, Jesus said.

2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

Only those who are chosen before the world began respond to the call, is an effectual call, as the theologians say, a call that effectively draws you and I to Jesus and we cannot resist it, why can we not resist? Because God's grace is irresistible, John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. And that word "draw" means to drag: G1670 helkuo; helko, hel-koo'-o, hel'-ko
Probably akin to G138; to drag (literally or figuratively): - draw. Compare G1667.
Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries.

I was actually dragged to Jesus by the Father, that is how I was born again, because I could not resist anymore; even though I tried until the very last moment. God had to audibly speak to me, when Gino, the brother who ask me if I wanted to ask Jesus in my heart, asked that question, I actually heard a whisper in my ear "say yes", and not only once but twice I heard that phrase, I was actually resisting with everything inside of me; my mind was in turmoil, all my flesh and my heart were resisting the call; I actually thought Gino was playing a trick on me but I didn't say anything, I finally gave up.

See, I was actually raised a catholic, all my elementary school years I went to an all boy catholic school but in my early adulthood years I was indoctrinated in metaphysics; I believed in re-incarnation, I meditated, I did the hummmm stuff; I was a vegetarian, and I ate mushrooms and peyote and smoked weed because they were all natural, by the time I hit thirty years old I was already an alcoholic and was addicted to coke, not diet, the white powder stuff; I really wanted to stop and I could not do it, no matter what I tried, AA, NA, all the psychobabble, etc, etc; and then it was time, God nailed me with the Holy Spirit and the rest is history.

Twenty years later, here I am, reading the word of God and hearing the voice of Jesus; I have not thought about all these things for all these years, it has ony been a few months since the Lord has actually opened my eyes to a deeper truth; and all this because a brother at church said he didn't believe in predestination; so I was forced (who can stay God's hand?) to look into this doctrine and learn it. I'm not saying I didn't believe it before, but I always took it for granted, I just believed the facts of God's word; when He said I had been chosen, and predestined, I just believed it, but I never thought about the implications of that statement, I never had a problem with it.

But now it turns out, that there are countless Christians who really don't believe that God is sovereign, that He is in control of all things, that there is not a single grain of sand on the beaches of the world that moves without Him having a purpose for it, that there is not a single atom in the whole universe that is outside His design and exists according to His will; imagine that, just one atom somewhere rebelling against God, thwarting His will; it's ludicrous; ridiculous, stupid and absurd to think that can ever happen.

But still, people think they have something to do with the control of their lives; some have the audacity to say "but I did made a commitment, I made a choice", I'm sorry but I have to say, you did not make anything, God made the choice for you and you were predestined to become a child of God; if it hurts your pride or your intellect, well, I guess that is a good thing. The only thing I can say to you or anybody who says that you had anything to do with your salvation is: who can stay His hand? Is all of grace, says Paul, and if is of grace is not of actions or decisions made or your "free will".

Do you remember when you were born again? Were you able to resist Him? I don't think so. When you heard the gospel preached to you, maybe for the tenth time, you finally gave in, after being dragged to Jesus over and over, the light finally pierced the darkness:

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The same veil that is light for those that are saved is darkness for those who are perishing: Exo 14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

I see the veil of darkness over the hearts of men, it is there by design, it is there by the will of God; is a strong delusion that God sends upon those He decides; now if you quote me some scripture saying that God wills everyone to be saved, then I have to ask you this question: why is it that every single day people perish in their sins? If no one can stay His hand, how is it that millions of people are not "willed" to go to heaven? I posted the story of a man who blew his brains out before, I knew him, he mocked Jesus and all I represented to him, I know he died in his sins, probably cursed God in the process; if God wills everyone to be saved then, why is this man in hell? Is there any other place he could have gone to, and I don't know about it? And what about Hitler and Stalin and all those mass murderers? Are they saved somewhere in heaven? Yeah, God wants everybody to get saved except Hitler and his comrades; what a contradiction.

I cold go on, but the scriptural proof is overwhelming, you might want to do your own research and show yourself approved and see with your own eyes what God wills for humanity; I know there are scores of people who think and believe that God will not send anyone to hell, that He is all love and that He loves everybody the same, and they do think and believe that because they are deceived, they don't really know who God is; and continue to try to save Him from the bad press He gets from his own word.

The question still remains: Who can stay His hand? Read the story about king Nebu, notice there that when he finally lifted his eyes to heaven, his reason came back and he adored Him who lives forever and ever; he did not get his reason back because he wanted to, but because God decided to, and at the time God wanted it to happen, and according to the pleasure of His will.

If you don't see it, maybe is not your time. Can you stay His hand?

"I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation; 35 all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, "What have you done?"

The thoughts of the heart

I have been reminded of an important truth, when someone says something to me that appears to be right because of the "authority" that such person has; I need to check everything he or she says against the truth of the word of God.

Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Do we believe everything we hear or read? I don't think so, we should not. That is the reason cults are born, someone says something they read in the Bible and twist it to their advantage, some others do it because they really don't have any discernment.

But the Lord has promised that the Spirit inside of us, will lead all of us into the truth: John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

What a wonderful thing it is to be posessed by the Holy Spirit; does it make sense then, when we hear the statement "the devil is putting thoughts in my mind", do we consider that to be truth? How can that be? On the other side, if I say to you that the devil cannot put any thoughts in your mind, because if you are a Christian you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit; then do you believe that? Why? Because of logic only? I think you should check against the word of God, and then, if the word of God says it's true, believe it as true. The flip side also must apply, if you hear me say such a statement, then the first thing that should come to your mind is, why? Where does it say so?

At times, the Bible does not speak about certain issues, like the thoughts of the devil being implanted into your brain if you are a Christian, by logic, it cannot be possible. But then where is the scripture to support that statement?

Eph 2:1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins Eph 2:2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience-- Eph 2:3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Ok, number one is the one I Just quoted, Ephesians chapter two. It is clear by what Paul says, (at this point we must believe that Paul was inspired by God to write His thoughts on paper and therefore they are considered to be the word of God, if we don't believe that, then all our arguments are null), that before God made us His children in time and space, we were walking according to the course of this world. The world as a system is such as where the basic principles and the philosophies of man come from; like psychology, or philosophy, or esoterism; when we were walking according to the course of such, we believed in everything the "experts" said, we even had our own philosophies, a worldly "world view".

Paul also says that we walked according to the prince of the power of the air; more than one interpretation to this statement could be valid, but the fact is that the world stands and walks under the power of the prince of this world, the accuser of the brethren, the deceiver, the lion that walks about seeking whom he may devour; he has his way of deceiving every human being on the face of the earth, except those creatures that we call children of God. I'm not saying that a child of God cannot be deceived by satan or his monkeys, but what I'm saying is that all Christians who know the truth shall not be deceived by the enemy in the same way others are, the least to put thoughts into their mind. Additionally, we can be sure that if satan has requested to swift you and I as wheat, and he does, then he is not the one in control, but our Father in heaven; and He will use our sifting to His glory.

Paul also says that we were dead in trespasses and sins, that is why we walked according to the course of this world and according to the prince of the power of the air, and according to the spirit of disobedience; God says that before we were born again, we walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air because we were dead and we had no choice.

Our minds and hearts were dead, and completely under the influence of spiritual wickedness, but now we have been made alive, and God has raised us up and seated us together with Christ in the heavenly places; so if we are with Christ, seated with Him, how can Satan put anything in our minds? We know by reading the book of Job that in fact Satan has access to the presence of God, and at God's request he attacked Job and tested him, but that was only externally, his wife was the one that was under demonic influence when she asked Job to curse God and just die; but Job never for a moment doubted that God was in control of all his circumstances.

Continuing with this train of thought, we have the great deception in Genesis chapter three; the serpent was more cunning than any other creature, it says, and she deceived Eve, not by putting thoughts in her brain, but by flat out lying to her; read the story and you will see with your own eyes, I hope, that what Satan did was suggest and also lie to her; the fact that she believed what he said, has nothing to do with putting thoughts in her mind; the same way today and throughout the ages, all the enemy can do is suggest and lie, but he has no power or authority to come inside of you and make you think anything.

Unless, you are not born again, in which case you don't need his help because you are dead in trespasses and sins already; and all your thoughts and actions are according to this world, to his influence on you, and on the lust of your flesh and of your mind, read Ephesians 2 again.

Now, when we talk about the children of wrath walking according to the spirit of disobedience, we know that God the Almighty is in complete control of all people and all things; if we don't believe that, then we cannot affirm that He is a sovereign God; and that all things will work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

Then we have this statement from Paul: Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
So how can we serve God with our mind if it is vulnerable to Satan putting thoughts in our mind? But to make it even more evident, here we have another statement from Paul: 1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. How can Satan, again, have access to our minds if we have the mind of Christ? It just doesn't make any sense, now I'm talking logic here, is it possible to have the mind of Christ and at the same time think what Satan wants us to think? I don't believe it for a second.

Here are some more scriptures where the mind is mentioned, the obvious point is that we have control of our minds.

Rom 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Php 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

1Pe 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Doubts can come, and different kinds of thoughts can come into our minds, but never by direct access by Satan coming into us. We really don't need Satan to have thoughts that are not according to the mind of Christ, we have our flesh; we know that we are in continual struggle with our minds, with our thoughts and with our desires, but that is because we have not been completely redeemed and glorified and we retain, by God's design, the fallen Adamic nature.

All stimuli from the exterior of ourselves produces thoughts that we can say are demonic, like lust or envy, or judging others in a critical and self righteous way, but all these will always be triggered by our carnal nature or by the exterior stimuli, such as the things we watch on TV or in the movies, or by the stuff we read or listen to in the radio and music, and of course, Satan uses all those things to make us think or desire something.

My point, after all this, is that we are possessed by the Holy Spirit, we cannot experience either demonic possession or direct ingression by Satan to cause us to think anything we don't want. It is a fact that we can control our thought life, read what Paul says:
2Co 10:2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
2Co 10:7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.

His point? That he didn't allow his thoughts to wander away from being centered in Christ, He says somewhere else, put your thoughts on the things above, where Christ is; and Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Php 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Paul knew the workings of the mind, either by revelation or by, well, revelation. He knew his mind constantly tried to think on his knowledge, on his training, on his human wisdom, he constantly talks about the mind and the thoughts, and God's wisdom, about how He chose the foolish things of this world to confound the wise, and so on, and so forth; but the main thing he knew is that we can control our thought life by using the weapons of our warfare, which are mighty in God for the bringing down of strongholds and to cast down imaginations, and our own exaltation, and to bring out thought life into subjection and obedience to Christ.

Our problem is many times that we don't think, some people think that Christians are naive and dumb because we believe anything other "Christians" say, or because people like Billy so and so or Chuck whatever said something, then it must be true; or because Augustine was quoted by some other "authority", the he must be right on; that is deceptive and I am guilty of it; I learned my lesson.

I think most of the time, we must be aware of what other believers are saying, not so much people from the world; we can't take their statements at face value, just as Martyn Lloyd Jones says, some teachers don't say anything wrong, but they don't say anything right either. I just went into a trip about the mind, and I gave you solid and reliable ammo to shoot the theory about Satan coming and putting thoughts in your mind full of holes, mostly when you hear someone from the pulpit say that Satan can just come in and put thoughts on your mind, watch out, do the research. ( I know, I'm repeating myself). In my KJV bible there are 80 verses that contain the word "thought", and 53 with the word "thoughts"; there are 92 verses containing the word mind, and 765 verses with 833 hits for the word "heart", yo know which is the first one? Here it is:

Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And the last verse containing the word "heart"? Here you go:

Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. (talking about Babylon).

My point is that according to our precious and awesome God, our heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, and we don't need Satan's help to think what is not right or holy, we have our flesh for that, but still He says He wants us to control the thoughts and the imaginations of our hearts by using the weapons He gave us, of course Paul is referring to prayer and the Word of God, that is what Jesus did when tempted by Satan himself, that is what we need to do; we will comply with His plan, we shall be holy and blameless before Him because His purposes will stand, and His will will be accomplished, whether we want to or not, as the elect we have no choice (neither the reprobate have any choices, they will bow down and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father); we are stuck in His will, and we don't want to get out of it anyways.

Shall I go on? I should make myself a sandwich or something.
